Our client asked us to compensate a 50 cm difference in height between the kitchen and the dishwasher area. By doing so, we had to pay special attention to the danger of falling and entrapment and to install a roll-off protection. In addition, we had to cope with a very limited installation space: No room for pit mounting or for French doors.
RDL Engineering provided effective solutions. We opted for a low profile lift table with no pit required. We integrated a mechanical roll-off protection into this lifting table. Finally, a boom barrier, equipped with a safety contact, provided a working environment without risks to health and safety for all employees.
