Compensating a 120 cm level difference between the unloading area and the shop space.
A chain of shops challenged us to compensate a 120 cm difference in height between the unloading area and the shop space. Special consideration was given to the danger of falling and entrapment, to roll-off protection of heavy-loaded carts and pallet lifters and to a rugged construction.
RDL Engineering developed an on-board emergency lowering function equipped with an emergency door release. We also included anti-collision protection so as to avoid as much as possible any risk of collisions between the carts or the pallets.
